Marjane's Revolution

“Persepolis” by Marjane Satrapi is the autobiographical story that depicts the revolution a young girl undergoes within herself coinciding with the Islamic Revolution in Iran; while experiencing atrocious deaths, edgy pop-culture fads and life under an oppressive regime, Satrapi suggests that there was much more to her childhood than chaotic political affairs and also much more to Iranians than fanaticism.
